The RAGtime 18 workshop will be held at the Institute of Physics, Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic on October 17-19, 2016.
The scientific scope of the workshop will be oriented on different issues of the relativistic physics of compact objects, in particular black holes and neutron stars. A number of current problems of various astrophysical areas will be addressed, such as confronting different BH and NS models with current observations. Among the main goals of the meeting will be to improve our understanding of the phenomenology and interpretation of different properties of the accretion disc X-ray radiation as well as behaviour of matter under extreme conditions.
